News, Views and Info by, for, and about the Great Undecided

Most news comes from media outlets that conform to the political beliefs of their owners. Undecided swing voters can easily fail to see both, or either, side of debates on issues that really affect them.

Large media outlets in the US tend to present a very un-balanced, pro-Bush stance. The reasons for this are varied, and will be examined in some of the articles posted at Undecided.com. Small, independant media outlets tend to present a very un-balanced, anti-Bush stance, perhaps because that gives them the opportunity to cater to the other very large group of voters, those who may feel alienated by Big Media.

We hope to present something useful and different with Undecided.com. We will look at the factors which contribute to low voter turnout, the despair that leads so many voters to not even care who to vote for, and look at some of the issues and events that could help 'swing voters' feel informed, but that other media outlets don't feel express the interests of their target audience.

Google News
An amazing page of news, compiled by one of Google's famous web-scouring spiders! Good source of information from all sides of an issue.

BBC News
An excellent source of news, much less skewed than most.

Fairness & Accuracy In Reporting
A great 'media watchdog' organization. Good introduction to the poor value of information in mass media.

Reuters news
Good British news service.

CBC news
Canada's national news service. Fairly balanced and informative.

compare and contrast!
CNN vs. Aljazeera
Just for fun.

NPR news
Usually, (as with CBC and BBC above, among others,) 'national' news sources can be a source of good information. Visit their site and learn why they've earned the nickname 'National Pentagon Radio".

WhiteHouse.org
Let this be a lesson that just because something says it's from the White House, doesn't mean it is. But it sure is funny.

Thanks, and enjoy Undecided.com!

Could we help you decide?

Do dumb photos like these affect undecided swing voters?

Official Portrait of GWB
This is George W. Bush's Official Portrait. Can you look at this official portrait of Mr. Bush and still feel undecided?
